Head of the Joint Forces Operation[JFO]’s press center Vitaliy Sarantsev has said journalists were denied accreditation to cover a prisoner swap scheduled for December 29.
“The work of the press at this event is not provided. Unfortunately. Neither we nor you. This is not our decision. We only provide this event, giving technical and medical assistance, and security. Decisions are not taken at the JFO’s headquarters,” he said, according to LB.ua.
According to Sarantsev, “the president’s press service will provide photos and videos.” At the same time, he added representatives of the JFO’s headquarters would not be able to attend the event as well.
As UNIAN reported earlier, participants in the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas settlement agreed on the mutual release of held persons to be held before the end of the year. According to Russian media, the “big swap” is scheduled for December 29.
